Meet Reverend joseph
Joseph Madadi was born in the western part of Kenya--
in the Busia District on the border between Kenya and
Uganda. His father died when when he was a child
leaving his mother to raise him and his siblings in poverty.
His family was far from God.
When Joseph was 14, he attended a crusade at a local market center and surrendered his life to Jesus. He had to sneak out to attend church because his family was deeply immersed in sorcery and witchcraft. When he was caught, he was thoroughly beaten and denied food.
Joseph “stood in the gap” for his family (Ezekiel 22:30). One day, when sickness overwhelmed them and demonic oppression filled their sleep with nightmares, his mother finally allowed Joseph to bring his pastors to pray for them. She confessed her sins and gave her life to Christ. God delivered her and as time went on, his hostile brothers and sisters came to the Lord as well.
Joseph's pastor in Muluanda, Busia, Kenya, saw his devotion and asked Joseph to accompany him on weekend missions. His first job was transporting the pastor via bicycle as far as the interior of Uganda and then back to Kenya. God began to use him in evangelism, healing, and deliverance.
In 1997, Joseph left for Nakuru in hopes of a good job. He found work and joined a church where in 1998, he became the youth pastor. He mobilized young people in prayer and door-to-door evangelism. God blessed their outreach efforts with signs and wonders--the sick were healed; captives set free. He became very burdened for the large numbers of orphaned children and widows living in the slums of Nakuru.
In June of 2000, Joseph entered full-time ministry. Today, he pastors the Nakuru House of Power with his wife, Fridah Zaitun. Fridah was born into a Muslim family but by God’s mercy, came to know Jesus and met Joseph at a youth conference in Nairobi. Three years later, God joined them in marriage. They have two sons--Godwill Aquilla and Abbah Charis.
